Requirements:

Successful completion of the 40 hour course including 5 case studies, and final exam for Certification.

This certification program is the only “live” course presented in the country, besides the ones available on the East and West Coasts. This provides each student the opportunity of hands on learning experiences. Kathy's teaching style focuses upon development of a group-learning atmosphere in which students are free to share knowledge and explore ideas. Throughout the course students are encouraged to present ideas/suggestions for learning activities, as long as these do not modify the basic structure and content of the course. The learning environment will stimulate interest in learning, respect individual needs of students and yet provide time for fun and shared interests of the group.

Meet the Instructor:

Kathy has been practicing the Art and Science of Aromatherapy for over 30 years. She is a Registered Aromatherapist who received her certification training under Cheryl Hoard at Cheryl’s Herbs several years ago. She has worked as a Nurse for 30+ plus years, and has combined her knowledge of essential oils to her knowledge of nursing and energy work with great success. She has been teaching basic aromatherapy classes, and delivering presentations to various groups and organizations on subjects regarding the use of essential oils with disorders such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and pain. She also uses hand and arm massage combined with oil blends and Reiki to help with anxiety and pain relief. Particularly helpful with the elderly, and for palliative care. Kathy provides Reiki therapy, Chakra clearing and Balancing.

She creates and manufactures her own essential oil blends and products.
