Requirements: Successful completion of the 40 hour course including 5 case studies, and final exam for Certification.

Meet the Instructor:
Kathy has been practicing the Art and Science of Aromatherapy for over 30 years. She is a Registered Aromatherapist who received her certification training under Cheryl Hoard at Cheryl’s Herbs several years ago. She has worked as a Nurse for 30+ plus years, and has combined her knowledge of essential oils to her knowledge of nursing and energy work with great success. She has been teaching basic aromatherapy classes, and delivering presentations to various groups and organizations on subjects regarding the use of essential oils with disorders such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and pain. She also uses hand and arm massage combined with oil blends and Reiki to help with anxiety and pain relief. Particularly helpful with the elderly, and for palliative care. Kathy provides Reiki therapy, Chakra clearing and Balancing.
She creates and manufactures her own essential oil blends and products.

The school for Aromatic Studies was founded in 1990 by Jade Shutes, past president of NAHA (National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy). Jade gained international recognition with her active involvement in setting standards for aromatherapy education in North America. Respected author of articles on aromatherapy education and other aromatherapy issues, Jade has a diploma in holistic aromatherapy, holistic massage, anatomy and physiology and reflexology from the Raworth College of Natural Medicine in Dorking, UK and a diploma in aromatherapy from the International Therapist Examining Board.
