HYDROSOLS
A delicate, subtle form of aromatherapy is the use of hydrosols, sometimes known as floral or herbal waters. Hydrosols are the byproduct, the water, left after distilling plant material to produce essential oils. Water and essential oil are collected at the end of the distillation process. Since essential oil and water don't mix, the essential oil is separated from the water. These waters have micro-molecules of essential oil completely dispersed throughout.
Hydrosols have the same uses as their essential oils. For example, rose essential oil is relaxing to the mind and body, and offers toning, tightening, anti-inflammatory and cell regenerating qualities for the skin. Rose hydrosol offers similar benefits. The hydrosols of chamomile, lavender, elder flower and yarrow are famous for healing wounds and other skin problems. Skin care is a popular way to use hydrosols, but they are also effective at balancing moods and reducing stress. Peppermint and Geranium are great to carry with you during the summer to keep you cool! Around the house they can be sprayed on clothes while ironing and are used to lightly scent linens. Hydrosols are excellent to use with babies, children and pets because they are gentle but effective. Try one today at 10% off for a limited time, online store only! 10% off Hydrosols only Friday, August 21st to Wednesday, August 26th. Online store only.
