We appreciate all of our customers sticking with us through these difficult past few years! Here is a little background on Cheryl's Herbs in case you didn't know...
Cheryl's Herbs was started in 1991 by Cheryl and Jeff Hoard. Cheryl was a self taught herbalist, professional musician and pioneer in aromatherapy. Cheryl’s Herbs grew into a thriving herbal enterprise, featuring the finest quality pure essential oils and herbs available. She created simple products, handmade with love and care. It was Cheryl’s goal and lifelong passion to assist others to learn and live a convenient natural and healthy lifestyle. She worked tirelessly to offer something for everyone at the highest quality.
Unfortunately in 2015, Cheryl passed away, leaving this earth far too soon.
The current owner is Cheryl's widower, Jeff, who has had difficulty maintaining the business since losing Cheryl to her battle against cancer. He is now facing cancer himself and needs to step away from ownership to be able to focus on his well being and health.
Maria Roderick began her career at Cheryl's Herbs in 1998 helping customers and making Cheryl's products. She soon began learning the many aspects and rewards of working in a small business that helped so many people on a day to day basis. Maria worked closely with Cheryl for 17 years. She is passionate about herbalism, aromatherapy, and holistic living. Maria has set this campaign in place to raise the funds needed to continue the work and legacy of Cheryl's alive and thriving!
The hope is that we will be able to continue to serve the St. Louis community for many years to come. The goal, with your support, is to create a new and improved version of Cheryl's Herbs under a new name. Your support will be an integral part of continuing Cheryl's dream of serving the community and maintaining a livelihood for her knowledgeable and dedicated employees who have strived to keep Cheryl's vision going.
